AI Addendum
This AI Addendum forms part of the Terms of Service and governs the AI-assisted features of AgentChannel. The AI Readiness Audit itself is deterministic and uses no AI. On a paid plan, when you ask us to fix a store policy or a product description, we use AI to draft new copy from your store’s existing business content, for you to review and edit before it is applied. The AI providers are Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI (as a fallback), routed through the Vercel AI gateway.
We do not train AI models on your data
We do not use your inputs or the AI-generated outputs to develop, train, fine-tune, or otherwise improve any AI or machine-learning model, whether ours or a third party’s, and we do not permit our AI providers to do so. We may process your input only as needed to generate the output you requested and to operate and secure the feature.
What we send to the AI providers
We send only your store’s business content (the existing policy or product text being improved). We do not send your customers’ names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, order details, payment data, or your authentication credentials. We build the prompt from your business content only, so that data is never part of what we send to the AI providers.
You own the output
As between you and us, you retain all rights in the content you submit (your input) and you own the AI-generated drafts (the output). To the extent we have any rights in the output, we assign them to you. You confirm that you have the rights necessary to submit your store’s content to the AI features.
AI output may be wrong — review before you apply
Because of the nature of artificial intelligence, generated drafts may be incorrect or inaccurate, may resemble content generated for others, and may not be protectable as intellectual property. AI is not human and is not a substitute for your review: every AI-assisted fix is presented for you to read and edit, and is applied to your store only after you approve it. You will not use the AI features for decision-making in a regulated context without appropriate human oversight, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to falsely state that AI output was created by a human. We do not warrant that output will be accurate or will not resemble or infringe the rights of others.
Personal data
Nothing in this Addendum reduces our obligations under data-protection law for any personal data; our handling of personal data is governed by our Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy.
